Can be used as primary as well as a secondary dressing

Comfeel® Plus Ulcer can be used directly on low to moderately exuding wounds in the final stages of wound healing. Comfeel® Plus can also be used as a secondary dressing. 

Available in shapes to dress any part of the body

The Comfeel® Plus range is available in regular square sizes and sacral. 

Bacteria and waterproof top film

The semi-permeable top film allows for evaporation corresponding to the level of exudate, but stops bacteria and water from entering the wound. 

Mode of action

When the dressing comes into contact with wound exudate, it forms a viscous gel that absorbs exudate but does not adhere to the wound. 

Product composition

Comfeel® Plus Ulcer consists of moisture-absorbing sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) particles encapsulated in a synthetic, elastic, and sticky mass. Calcium alginate has been added to the dressing to increase absorption. The top film is a semi-permeable polyurethane film.

Usage

Comfeel® Plus Ulcer can be used for the treatment of low to moderately exuding wounds, including leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, superficial burns, superficial partial-thickness burns, donor sites, postoperative wounds, and skin abrasions.  The dressing can stay on for up to 7 days depending on the specific wound characteristics.

Comfeel® Plus Ulcer hydrocolloid dressing with alginate is the gentle and proven solution for sealing and healing low to moderately exuding wounds. 

Bacteria and Waterproof Protection

The semi-permeable top film allows controlled evaporation of exudate while preventing bacteria and water from contaminating the wound, maintaining a clean and safe healing environment.

Advanced Composition for Enhanced Absorption

Composed of moisture-absorbing sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) particles encapsulated in a synthetic, elastic, and adhesive matrix, this dressing also incorporates calcium alginate to boost absorption capacity. The top layer consists of a durable semi-permeable polyurethane film.

Usage

Suitable for treating a range of low to moderately exuding wounds including leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, superficial burns, partial-thickness burns, donor sites, postoperative wounds, and skin abrasions. The dressing can remain in place for up to 7 days depending on wound characteristics, providing a gentle and effective healing solution.
